Art for Collectors

Work That Shifts in Tone Over Time

I create my work through a process of sustained observation, response, and engagement using an intuitive artmaking approach. My work sometimes begins with a landscape or architectural element.

Other times the process begins more inwardly with simple, but expressive marks or shapes which evolve thru instinct, presence, memory and emotion. Each piece is entirely personal, expressive and unique.

I mostly work without a fixed outcome in mind, but not without intention. My work evolves through looking, revising, and responding — allowing each piece to arrive in its own way, rather than forcing it toward a predetermined result.

Because of this process, my work often shifts in tone and form over time. What remains consistent is the underlying approach: a commitment to presence and attentiveness, the impact of formal elements (line, shape, color, pattern) on the  overall composition, and the slow accumulation of meaning through repeated revision and engagement.

For collectors, this work is meant to be lived with. It is not designed to resolve immediately, but to hold your attention over time — changing subtly with light and context and rewarding sustained viewing.
